Psychosis and Intelligibility

When interacting with other people, we assume that they have their reasons for what do and believe, experience recognizable feelings emotions. people act from weakness of will or are otherwise irrational, can still be comprehensible to us, since know it is like fall temptation against one’s better judgment. Still, when someone’s experiences, way thinking vastly different our own, understanding them becomes increasingly difficult. Delusions psychosis often seen as marking the end intelligibility. In this article, I argue first importance seeing intelligible long at all possible. Second, argue, based on both previous literature my own lived experience, more psychotic phenomena than previously thought rendered least somewhat intelligible. Besides bizarre experiences illusions, hallucinations, intense significance, also explain lose bedrock, how loss impacts which beliefs one has reason reject. Finally, give an inside account some disturbances reason, show there important similarities between certain reasoning problems common non-pathological phenomena.
